event: sweets festival 2012

Mmmmm-mmm!

That’s about all I have to say about the prospect of visiting the Sweets Festival at the Immigration Museum this Sunday 18 March. Running as part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, this event is a collaboration between the city’s Indian, Turkish, Mauritian, Italian and Japanese communities and includes performances from musicians and dance troupes, as well as a Japanese tea ceremony.

A museum ticket will get you entry to this festival. For more info, check out the Immigration Museum’s website.
